What are RSS Feeds?
Receiving ‘feeds’ via a ‘feed reader’ is a simple way to receive summaries of new content added to the web. Armfield offer separate feeds for
different areas of interest, so you will only receive updates concerning the content that is relevant to you.
By subscribing to Armfield‘s free RSS feeds, your reader will display headlines
that link to full versions of new content on Armfield‘s website.
How do I use feeds?
The latest versions of most web browsers support feeds directly, with
no need to install any additional software or plug-ins. You can simply
click on the feed link to view or subscribe to it.
If this does not work, you may need to install
a ‘feed reader’. There are a number of free readers available.
Further information is available here.
Your reader will automatically retrieve updates
from the feeds you have subscribed to, helping
you to stay current with new content as it is published to the web.
To subscribe to Armfield news RSS feeds in your
feed reader, right-click on one of the feeds and
select ‘Copy
Shortcut’ or ‘Copy Link Location’. Follow the instructions
provided by your feed reader to paste the link
location (URL) where it asks for the URL of the feed you wish to subscribe
to.
